I stood in front of a room of 50 people and asked them what they thought of me.
While I received love and accolades for my wisdom, clarity and ability to support people, I was also told that I looked generally sloppy, tired and like I might make a good yoga instructor.
This was in a program called Powerful Presentations*, where I was challenged to show up fully in my power, and enroll people in my ability to bring about change in the world.
“Humbled” is not a big enough word to explain my experience.
It’s not just that looks/clothes matter.
I learned that in order for people to believe in me, I must first believe in myself.
I cannot promise transformational experiences if I do not myself demonstrate strength, power, energy & aliveness.
Marianne Williamson writes, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure… playing small does not serve the world.”
I’m done playing small.
I believe deeply that everyone on the planet is here for some purpose – that in order for us to make the world work, we must each do the thing that only we can do.
My work is to help people access that knowledge and act on it, using any tool at my disposal.
And I can’t do that unless I stand in my own worth.
How about YOU? Are you ready? Let’s go!
*Powerful Presentations is not currently available in the United States. If you are interested in knowing more, I’m happy to help you on the path.
Are you ready to access your own power? To get out of your own way? To create abundance and fulfillment in your life? The Life Inventory Assessment (LIA), takes about 20 minutes to fill out, then about 90-minutes to decipher and explore.

P.S. I will be sharing the LIA at the 50 Fun Things Pura Vida Costa Rica Retreat in February. For a five-minute break and a taste of the retreat, check out this beautiful video.
